The wedding of Princess Beatrice of York and Count Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place on July 17 2020 at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, Royal Lodge, Windsor.
The original date of the wedding was May 29, at Chapel Royal of St James's Palace, however the impact of the COVID-19 virus resulted in the princess’s big day being postponed.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were among the small group of family members and close friends in attendance.
Not only was the Queen, Beatrice’s grandmother, an attendee but she also leant Beatrice the wedding dress and tiara which she wore for her ceremony.

The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara has a long history of ‘something borrowed’ - originally made for Queen Mary in 1919.
In August 1936, Queen Mary gave the tiara to her daughter-in-law, Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother), later, she lent the piece to her daughter, Princess Elizabeth (future Queen Elizabeth II), as her ‘something borrowed’ for her wedding to Prince Philip in 1947. It was then lent to Princess Anne for her marriage to Captain Mark Phillips in 1973, before being recently loaned to Princess Beatrice.
The "Peau De Soie taffeta" vintage dress, in shades of ivory by Norman Hartnell, featured duchess satin and diamanté detailing and was modified by Angela Kelly and Stewart Parvin with the addition of organza shoulder sleeves.
