After taking part in my first styled shoot back in February I was bursting with ideas for my own. I’ve lived in the Cotswolds my whole life and it heavily influences my work and style. As a relatively new photographer in the wedding business I wanted to put something together that would convey what I enjoy doing the most in a style I love. I approached some suppliers and we all got together one evening to discuss ideas. We all got on like a house on fire and I was confident I’d chosen a team that I would love working with and who would put their best into the photo shoot. After another fun afternoon of trying on and choosing a wedding dress we settled on two dresses and a colour scheme ready for the shoot a week later.
I wanted to move away from the vintage style we’ve been seeing a lot of lately and move towards something a bit more classic. Corals and pastels are colours that are very popular this year so for the flowers we chose peaches and creams. Our florist, Laura from The Bloom Room, did a fantastic job and the flowers were stunning. I had every faith in all of the suppliers that whatever they supplied would be perfect and I was right. I couldn’t have been happier with the results.
