Wedding Photo of the Week: Liz Greenhalgh Photography

16 Nov 2020

Each week we’re inviting all wedding photographers to submit their images to be Bride’s Wedding Photo of the Week

This week’s photograph is submitted by Liz Greenhalgh Photography.

This image was taken on Halloween – the last full wedding Liz photographed this year. She says: “Mary-Ann and Jeff Houtsma met seven years ago online. Jeff is Dutch, they had a long-distance relationship until Jeff moved over here. They were determined to get married however small the wedding was going to be. His parents had to self-isolate for two weeks before the wedding so they could attend, and then another 10 days self-isolation when they returned to Holland.
We had a mixture of sunshine and heavy rain on the day and just as we were leaving the church the sunlight was beautiful, they both ran across the road so happy to be married.
The end of the night was at McDonald's, not your usual end to a wedding but nothing is normal this year. These guys had their first date at McDonald's so it was perfect to end their wedding day over McNuggets.”

The image will feature as Bride’s Facebook cover photos for this week. Don't forget to follow us on Bride’s Facebook page.
