Each week we’re inviting all wedding photographers to submit their images to be Bride’s Wedding Photo of the Week
The Spanish wedding of Merve Başöz and Jesus Florido Banqueri took place at Palacio de los Cordova in Granada, and was caught on camera by Erdem Donuktan of Docushot Photography.
Erdem says: "The couple chose to get married in Granada, where the groom grew up, and chose their venue for its history and beautiful views of the Alhambra Palace. Merve and Jesus live and work abroad, away from their friends and families, so to have the hotel full with the people closest to them was incredibly special. The couple had arranged for welcome cocktails in the courtyard of their venue for their guests, which were accompanied by a live flamenco guitar.
"The flowers were designed by a local florist, Floristeria Rafael, and were mostly neutral, earthy tones to complement the greenery of the venue. The table names were cities and places of importance to the couple and their guests and as hoped, this triggered warm, personal memories and sparked conversation.
"Merve and Jesus said that their wedding was everything that they could have hoped for; they were able to enjoy a beautiful day, stress-free, surrounded by their nearest and dearest."
