A celebrity favourite for weddings, Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London’s most recognisable civil wedding venues.
Known for the high profile weddings of Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, Old Marylebone Town Hall is set to reopen its doors in January 2018.
Following a major refurbishment in August 2013, the building's interiors have been transformed to deliver a complementing mix of 1920s features and contemporary furnishings. Seven new reception rooms are named after iconic London areas, such as Westminster, Knightsbridge, and Mayfair, and each provides a wine fridge for guests to enjoy after the ceremony.
Old Marylebone Town Hall will offer intimate ceremonies for four people to larger weddings for up to 100 guests, with more than 50 bookings already secured for next year.
Cabinet member for environment, sports and community, councillor David Harvey, said: “The venue has hosted so many important ceremonies including 20 same sex couples legalising their union on the very first day of civil partnerships in 2005 and there will be many more to come. I strongly encourage couples planning a wedding in London to consider the Old Marylebone Town Hall."
