Bidvine.com has teamed up with luxury dog boutique owner, Louise Harris, to launch a wedding planning service for dogs.
Offering photography, wedding attire, catering, entertainment and venue hire, with bespoke packages available, the service has been launched to meet growing demand from customers who want to give their pooch the perfect ceremony.
Louise Harris is an experienced dog wedding planner and in 2011, threw her own dog, Lola, a lavish £20,000 wedding to Britain’s ugliest hound, a Chinese crested dog called Mugly.
Russ Morgan, co-founder of Bidvine.com, said: “We want Bidvine.com to offer the broadest range of services from top professionals. So, when a number of our wedding planners told us that they had received enquiries about arranging a dog wedding, we did a bit of research and to our surprise, realised that there wasn’t a service in the UK. It seems there is a real market for this type of celebration."
Louise commented: “I run my own dog boutique and parlour and have all of the right contacts in the business to make this happen, from my general dog party planning work, which I still do. If anyone can be a dog wedding planner, it is me. I also think it’s important to make the weddings as bespoke as possible, as every dog and owner will have different requirements; I can’t wait to get started.”
Packages start from £1,500. To request a quote or for more information visit: www.bidvine.com/pro/party-pets.
