Breath-taking designs full of contrast, light and movement feature in Nicole Milano’s new 2023 collections. The Italian luxury brand, which is part of the Pronovias Group Portfolio, has recently launched its ‘Symphony of Arts’ collections. The romantic designs from these collections were first seen at the 2022 Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, replete with new, shimmering fabrics and on-trend silhouettes.
The brand’s creative director, Nicole Cavallo, took inspiration from the arts including dance, architecture, sculpture, painting and photography for the designs of each of the atelier’s five sub-brands: Nicole Milano, Nicole Couture, Nicole Joiles, Nicole Aurora and Nicole Colet.
"When a woman chooses her wedding dress, it is a reflection of her soul," explains Nicole Cavallo.
Textured fabrics such as embossed jacquard, gauzy organza and fresh, natural cotton have been incorporated to create light-weight bridal designs. Must-have corset bodices guarantee support and comfort for the modern bride. Unconventional twists include gold and glitter tulle as well as lace layering and embroidered underlays, which create depth and mesmerising, paint-like patterns.
Queen Anne necklines, bustle-up overskirts and macro bows showcase the impressive detailing of the new collections. There's sure to be a silhouette to suit every bride as the ‘Symphony of Arts’ designs feature floaty ball gown and A-line dresses, as well as a new, relaxed mermaid dress style.
The new designs are available in store from July. To view the 'Symphony of Arts’ collections online, visit nicolemilano.com.
