Vintage inspired but with a modern twist, all of the designs would be at home in any era. Wedding dresses should transcend time.
Joyce loves the beauty of lace and chooses from Europe's finest mills, teamed with sumptuous Italian silks and fluid satins . Her handwriting is soft, feminine and unstructured. She likes to add a casual detail into the design, not being a great fan of formality, like pockets in the Tiffany dress, which is a bit of fun and gives the design a more youthful look. Joyce prefers gowns to be light and not too structured, which she believes is younger looking.
Joyce says, "I believe less is more and prefer to design simple, uncluttered lines in luxurious fabrics with little quirky details. Elegant but fun for the discerning bride."
There are 15 dresses in the Couture Collection but as each dress is bespoke, there are unlimited variations.
There are several collections for different budgets designed by Joyce Young, which are exclusively available from her showrooms in London and Glasgow. For the personal touch, brides who know they want a couture dress or a unique dress designed individually can make an appointment for a one to one consultation with the designer.
