New bridal shop opens in Bury
THERE’S now even more choice for brides living in the west of the county with the recent opening of Bury Bridal Rooms.
Found at 14 Brentgovel Street (at the end of Looms Lane) the new store is a dream come true for owners Debi Reidy-Bond and Tara Houseago, who have been wanting to set-up a bridal business together for years.
The idea behind Bury Bridal Rooms, which spreads over two floors to include a spacious dressing area, is to provide brides with more than the dress, as Debi and Tara thrive on being able to offer planning tips and advice too.
Three brands of bridalwear are stocked in the store, all of them unique to Suffolk. “We’ve chosen these dresses because the quality is incredible,” said Debi. “They look a million dollars but without the price tag. Brides coming into the shop have been surprised to find that dresses they expected to be around £4,000 are only £1,000.”
Also on sale is a fantastic range of accessories, many of them sourced locally.
These include solid silver jewellery from Gallery, Armana sterling silver and freshwater pearl pieces, and tiaras, necklaces, hair pieces and more from Euphyllia.
Men are catered for too, with modern accessories from Steam in titanium, silver and stainless steel.
For lingerie and shoes, Bury Bridal Rooms has a list of recommended local suppliers just a short walk away.
