Must-play wedding tunes
IT’S a common occurrence at weddings. The ceremony has passed, the food has been eaten, and the booze has been quaffed. But as soon as the DJ spins into action most people take a seat.
Now, while no amount of booze could get even the most retiring of aunties up for a boogie, some songs are so catchy, that as soon as they start playing it is a knee-jerk reaction to dance to them.
All wedding reception music needs to play out as follows. Start with your chosen first dance song, followed up cheesy dance tracks with dance moves that will get everyone up on the floor. Mix in some popular music and classic hits, and end with some slow burners that require simply a little side-stepping.
Here are some of our favourite hits that you simply HAVE to play at your wedding.
