Photographer Martyn Norsworthy has triumphed in the Moscow International Photo Awards 2016

Devon photographer Martyn Norsworthy has been awarded a prize in this year's Moscow International Foto Awards.

One of two entries, Martyn's 'The Ascendant Bride' - captured during an impromptu shoot - impressed the panel of judges in originality, creativity, composition and overall impact.

Recognising, rewarding and exposing talented photographers from around the world, the Moscow International Foto Awards (MIFA) serve to introduce entrants to the creative community in Russia.

This year's awards received thousands of images from 85 different countries and across various categories including Architecture, Editorial, Fine Art, Nature, People and Science.
