Malmesbury Town Hall
The historic Malmesbury Town Hall has its own chapel as well as a fully licenced bar to cater for your wedding celebrations.
Malmesbury Town Hall dates back, in parts, to 1846, with a history of uses that include a Wesleyan chapel, the town’s fire station, court and assembly hall.
In recent years Malmesbury Town Hall has seen a £1.3m refurbishment to deliver what you see today, a vibrant and conveniently located building at the heart of beautiful Malmesbury. What better place than to celebrate the most important day of your life surrounded by those that you love?
Our facilities can comfortably accommodate any wedding size from intimate weddings from 2 to 20 guests to larger weddings up to a maximum of 150 guests for the Wedding Breakfast and 200 guests in total for an evening party to celebrate your wedding.
Our wedding and civil partnership package includes two planning meetings with our Events Manager in the lead up to your wedding, to take some of the strain off you and to help you organise your dream day to your specifications.
Included within the package is the setting up for your Wedding Breakfast to include everything you may require for your Wedding Breakfast including tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, tablecloths and napkins. This does not include chair covers or their fitting, cake knife and stand, decorations or flowers, table stands or sprinkles. If you would like to provide your own cake knife and stand, decorations, sprinkles or flowers and table stands we will set them out required.
The Wedding package also gives you and your guest’s exclusive use of the first and second floors throughout the Town Hall from 1pm on the day of your ceremony to 1am the following morning.
A complimentary glass of chilled sparkling wine or fruit juice is included within the package to welcome up to 150 guests on arrival into the Town Hall.
Malmesbury Town Hall offers a fully licensed venue, meaning you can offer your guests a pay bar should you choose or supply your own alcohol for both your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
