Make your own bow tie at The Makery workshop in London

06 Mar 2017

Craft company The Makery is hosting a series of 'Make Your Own Bow Tie' workshops in London

Held at John Lewis on Oxford Street in central London, The Makery's 'Make Your Own Bow Tie' workshop is inviting engaged couples and wedding guests to learn the craft in creating the perfect accessory.

The two-hour workshop will advise particpants on how to use a sewing machine and learn the basics of hand-sewing - perfect for beginners.

Priced at £35, The Makery's bow tie workshop runs all year round and the next classes will take place on Saturday, 17th June and Saturday, 1st July (2.30-4.30pm).

Just bring along a piece of cotton fabric (a quarter of a metre or a fat quarter is plenty) in your wedding colours and make sure you know the shirt collar size of the person you are making it for in inches.
