Luella's Bridal launches 2018 Collection

09 Jan 2018

London boutique Luella's Bridal has released its 2018 Collection, inspired by jewellery designer Sarah May's work

The second wedding dress collection to come from Luella's Bridal, 'Expectations' features truly indivdual styles to reflect the unique island pod rings of Trinidadian jewellery designer, Sarah May.

Sarah’s rings have been inspired by her original engagement ring and her subsequent life journey and are named Happy, Love, Dream, Believe and Abundance. Each ring can be interpreted in the wearer's own unique way and Luella’s Bridal felt that there was something truly special about having a ring to wear that is so personal to each individual.

As such, the Expectations collection features five dresses which celebrate the free-spirited nature of the Luella bride and includes a mixture of simple understated and intricately beaded slip style dresses and beautiful lace and tulle gowns. Low plunging backs, soft flowing skirts, and signature pleated skirts are all stand-out features within the collection.

Handmade in the UK, the Luella's Bridal team have used a selection of the finest French laces, silk, satin, tulle and beaded appliques in a blend of soft ivory, cream and blush tones to fulfil their vision.

Owner of Wimbledon-based Luella's Bridal, Rachel Attwell, says: “It was such a pleasure to work with Sarah on this project. I have known Sarah for a number of years and have always wanted to work with her. I feel that Sarah’s unique collection is perfect for our more relaxed type of customer and compliments our slightly more modern style of dresses.”
