When thinking about your choice of wedding flowers, you should first consider your wedding theme and colour scheme. For example, a rustic country style wedding might suit wild meadow flowers in a rainbow of shades, whereas a luxury fairytale wedding might be best complemented by a traditional bouquet arrangement in uniform colours.
Your wedding flowers will extend to your venue décor as well, so think about the floristry that will suit your wedding venue. Also consider flowers which are in season and take into account your style of wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses - all of which your wedding florist will be able to advise on.
Alternatively, you may wish to use faux or silk flowers - or even create a bouquet out of buttons or brooches. The choice is truly yours.
A good place to start when searching for wedding flower inspiration is Pinterest where you can create moodboards centred on the look you wish to achieve. To get your wedding vision underway, take a look at these bouquets which brides chose for their big day.
