Tramshed, Shoreditch

Tramshed, a former East End tram-generator building in the heart of Shoreditch, boasts the renowned Cock ‘n’ Bull installation by Damien Hirst. The menu gives centre stage to Swainson House Farm chicken and Glenarm Estate beef, carved at the table and designed to share. HIX ART offers an ‘industrial-chic’ event space below Tramshed. With regularly changing curated exhibitions by emerging artists, HIX ART provides a unique backdrop for formal meals, drinks receptions or DJs and dancing.

Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square

Whether planning a wedding, a blessing in our chapel, a wedding party – or indeed all three, at the Charterhouse you will be surrounded by stunning architecture that dates back to the 14th century, as well as portraiture and décor that has all the pomp and splendour of the prominent Tudor mansion which once hosted kings and queens of England. With a highly experienced team and a host of diverse and trusted partners to hand, your wonderful day can be as relaxed, or as formal as you like, on a small or grand scale – but guaranteed beautiful, memorable and full of captured moments unique to you and the special history of the Charterhouse.

Foundling Museum, Bloomsbury

Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, the Foundling Museum’s elegant and romantic rooms provide a memorable setting for your special day. The Museum offers legal civil ceremonies and is a rare example of a unique venue in London offering exclusive hire.

Take your vows in the stunning Court Room with original Rococo interior, then enjoy a champagne reception while exploring the collection of historical and contemporary artistic treasures. Move through to the beautiful 18th century Picture Gallery for a seated wedding breakfast, surrounded by antique furnishings and large-scale portraits by some of the UK’s most celebrated artists.

The Foundling Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity and first public art gallery. Say "I do" on the site of this important historic institution. The Museum’s events team is delighted to assist you with all aspects of planning to create the perfect occasion for you and your guests.

With The Golden Hinde's ceremony package you can say your vows in the beautiful Great Cabin, reserved for the officers and gentlemen on the original voyage, or in the hold where the vast amounts of treasure were stored. Every space aboard the ship has history and if you’re looking for a special and distinctive venue, The Golden Hinde is perfect. There is no better way to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.

These include boutique cinema screens of different capacities, and a live music-cum-theatre venue space complete with stage and balcony.

With affordable packages to suit all budgets, and a team of experienced planners, you can be the stars of the stage and/or silver screen to create an unforgettable day. As a charity, all monies from venue hire go back into Rich Mix’s core purpose: their work with artists, young people and the local community.
