The Belvedere structure, similar to a pavilion, was unveiled following the complete renovation of the Grade II-listed hotel’s event rooms and creation of the beautiful light-filled Orangery in 2017.
The opening of the Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel licensed garden space allows couples to marry against the backdrop of Salisbury Cathedral, surrounded by the Wiltshire meadows and with the River Avon as a backdrop.
Derek McNeill, general manager at Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel, said: “We are delighted to offer couples the option of marrying under our licensed Belvedere, the structure is a perfect ceremony space for weddings any time of the year.
“The wedding team here have been excited to show the licensed space to couples and we’ve had fantastic feedback.”
Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel is an original 13th century coaching inn, with many of its original features dating back more than 600 years. With its 34 bedrooms and a restaurant to cater for 120 guests, it’s clear to see why the hotel is a sought-after venue for those looking for a wedding venue with character.
