Launcells Barton, near Bude, was named as one of the best countryside wedding venues in the region at The Wedding Industry Awards held in Cheltenham.

The venue was awarded 'Highly Commended' after initially tying with the eventual winner.

The awards, which are voted for by couples who have got married in the last year, bringing together wedding industry suppliers from across the South West.

Lara Gill, co-owner of Launcells Barton alongside Matthew Stokes, said: “We’re incredibly honoured to have been recognised at the awards and it means a lot to the team here as they’re voted for by couples that have experienced our venue and who have seen all of the work that we put into making sure that every detail of their day is perfect.

“Launcells Barton is a really special place for us and it’s great to be able to share that with couples on one of the most special days of their lives, no matter how far they’ve travelled to be with us.”
