London-based luxury childrenswear company La Coqueta is celebrating the release of its new Ceremony Collection. The latest collection features a 21-piece curation dedicated to traditional occasion wear for special events.
La Coqueta offers diverse silhouettes, catering to different needs and events, available in designs ranging from three months to ten years.
Stand-out pieces from the newest collection include the Vega Ceremony Girl Dress, a traditional ivory fit-and-flare piece crafted from an airy linen-cotton blend, decorated with voluminous frills and a floppy self-bow in luxurious duchess satin. The Santina comes in a variety of styles for toddlers and girls, offering hand-smocked finishes in deluxe champagne tones for family members to match, perfect for spring bridal parties and sibling celebrations.
Hand-smocked dresses, statement separates, and cotton knitwear remains a fundamental component of La Coqueta's heritage and character, crafted from featherweight linen, raw silk and cotton fabrics decorated with a scattering of intricate embroidery and elegant finishes. The Herminia focuses on those delicate finer details with a feminine empire waistline, broderie Anglaise panels and a long, floaty skirt, decorated with whimsical flashes of French lace for a vintage feel.
The Ceremony Collection’s silhouettes for boys are subtly crafted, featuring panto knickerbockers and matching cummerbunds in soft, pleated velvet paired with the classic yet timeless Toni Ceremony Boy Shirt. Minimalists can enjoy long-sleeved pieces like the Sanpa and Barba Boy Shirts, or the silky-soft Rori Baby Boy Set that doesn’t need a single embellishment to stand-out.
Shades of dreamy sage green, decadent champagne and rich navy blue offer a fresh alternative to classic white, offering brides-to-be more variety for wedding party attire. Options for the true romantics include vintage floral hair garlands hand-made in Spain using dried gypsophila, produced at the same family owned atelier that have championed La Coqueta’s craft since the 1970s. It can take up to a week to create each piece.
Every design from La Coqueta is made proudly in Spain, and the latest collection blends nostalgic designs and traditional Spanish aesthetic with modernity. Some of the brand’s pieces have been adorned by the children of well-known clients such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicky Hilton and the British Royal Family.
