Dating back to 1495 and set in beautifully maintained grounds across 2,500 acres of landscape, Knowsley Hall is one of Merseyside’s hidden treasures. Until 1997, one half of the Hall was rented to the Merseyside Police; since then, the current Earl and Countess have made it their life’s work to restore the Hall to its former glory. Now, for the fourth year in a row, it has won the award for Merseyside’s Best Wedding Venue at the North West Wedding Awards 2017.

Vanessa Kenny, sales and marketing manager at Knowsley Hall, says: “These awards are voted for by the most important people to our business - the happy couples. To win four years in a row means the world to us as we’re constantly evolving our offering to ensure that our couples, and their guests, have an unforgettable experience.”

The venue has its own dedicated wedding team to ensure that your big day runs smoothly. Its wedding package includes exclusive use of the Hall and its immediate grounds, and only a limited amount of weddings are held there each year. As well as weddings, Knowsley Hall is available for fine dining experiences, conferences, product launches and other private parties, award ceremonies, and charity balls. The Hall is also opened to the public for five days in the year and for a number of charity events.
