The team from Signature Belize Weddings tells us about the couple's big day which took place in February 2020:
Tell us about the ceremony:
The couple had the group hike to a waterfall. Then, the guests stood around the couple as they were celebrating their ceremony. Twenty minutes before the beginning of the reception the rain stopped - we quickly wiped everything down, and they enjoyed a great evening under the stars.
What were the challenges for this wedding?
Hidden Valley is a very remote location. It is located two and a half hours away from Belize City and only accessible through a rough jungle road. The bride and groom choose a waterfall that was a 45-minute walk through the jungle. The biggest challenge was getting the group to the hotel and walking the 22 guests through the jungle to the waterfall. The weather was overcast and raining! We were so worried we would have to change plans, but once the group started to hike into the jungle, the rain turned into a slight drizzle that was perfect for a jungle ceremony.
