28 Apr 2016

Are you a wedding business based in Norfolk? You could be taking home a title at the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards, sponsored by Marry in Norfolk

From the publishers of Archant Bride magazine comes an exciting all-new red carpet event.

The 2017 Bride: The Wedding Awards in association with the EDP and sponsored by Marry in Norfolk and the Norfolk Registration Service will be held on Friday, 27th January at Dunston Hall in Norwich.

Celebrating the best in the business, the awards will recognise, honour and reward suppliers in 15 categories. Businesses can enter themselves or be nominated by their bridal customers. Entries open on Monday, 1st August 2016 and close on Friday, 30th September 2016.

Category sponsors and industry experts will comprise the judging panel, which will meet to deliberate on entries in October. Shortlisted finalists will be revealed in November, ahead of the award ceremony and announcement of the award winners in January.

Diana Sims, general manager of Archant Weddings East said: “We’re very excited about the launch of Bride: The Wedding Awards. We’re passionate about helping brides plan their day through our magazines and shows and this is the chance to reward those local suppliers who play such a big part of their day and help their businesses grow.”

Echoing these sentiments, Caroline Clarke from Marry in Norfolk, Norfolk County Council adds: “Just as every wedding is unique, so too are the teams, large and small, who work so hard to make each couple's dream come true. We at Marry in Norfolk are thrilled that the professionalism, innovation and excellence of Norfolk businesses will be recognised and what better way to celebrate than with a special ceremony.”
