Insurancefair launches wedding insurance

Providing cover for all the unfortunate events that couples don't like to think about, Insurancefair's new wedding insurance cover offers various levels of protection

As an insurance intermediary, Insurancefair has extended its offering to include wedding insurance.

Starting from as little as £20, couples can tailor their insurance to suit their needs - whether the wedding is held at home or abroad - with levels of cover ranging up to £50,000.

As well as cancellation and rearrangement due to unforeseen circumstances, the Insurancefair Wedding product also allows couples to claim for the reproduction of their wedding photos in the event that they are lost, destroyed or damaged.

Lauren Stovell, product manager at Insurancefair, says: “Having recently married, I understand only too well that the cost of a creating a special and memorable day can reach heady heights. Research has become key, with innumerable resources available online to give ideas on the dream venue, themes, attire and much more.”

"It's surprising to see that the cost of weddings has increased, which is why Insurancefair has created a wedding product that can cater for most budgets at affordable prices. Unlike most other insurance products our prices are based on £2,500 cancellation increases, allowing for the inevitable overspend without overcharging."
