'If you want to know if he loves you so, it’s in his kiss'

"I love this photograph as it’s at the heart of what a wedding is all about: the connection, the special bond, the love between two people. The greatest gift in life is ‘love’.

"In order to focus attention on this theme, without disturbing the bride and groom's unique moment, I positioned myself at a distance. Using a long focal length, I cropped in tightly to avoid any unnecessary distractions. The large church door made an excellent backdrop, the dark colour contrasting well with their lighter coloured clothing. The solid oak door also being reflective of the strength of their bond.

"A strong wind blew the bride's veil across their faces, making this intimate moment a little more private for them. A bit of ‘luck’ perhaps? Excellent ‘timing’ maybe? Was this also true of the moment they met?" Robert at TrueLoveOptics

"I love shots where everyone is happy and having a great time and nothing epitomises this as much as a confetti shot. I love Manchester Town Hall in the background and I love how everyone is getting involved with throwing the confetti and engaging with Hope and Bradley.

"It’s little moments like this that are everything to me when photographing someone’s wedding day. All stood on a rooftop, having a great time. Your wedding day is about telling your story and I want to help you do that with my photography which is fun and full of life. Please contact me for a chat to see how I can help you tell your story." "There are a few reasons why I love this photo, mainly the story behind it. I was photographing the lovely Tim and Becky and I noticed Tim seemed a little odd. I took him to one side and asked if he was OK. It turns out he was just so excited to have finally married the girl of his dreams he was just a little overwhelmed. I decided it would be a good idea to give him a little task to help him while we took some photos, so I came up with a plan.

"I asked him to think of something that would make Becky laugh and when I shouted "three" he was to whisper in her ear. We went back to Becky and I gave them a few options of poses to do so my plan would work: number 1, 2 and 3. We photographed one and two and as I shouted "three" he leaned into Becky, whispered into her ear and this was the reaction, pure natural joy and love. Perfect." James Jebson Photography

James is a multi-award-winning photographer who set up business while completing his photography degree. James quickly gained a reputation for capturing a couple's wedding day without hardly being noticed, all while creating something special in just a few minutes away from their guests.

“I’m not the type of photographer to drag couples away for periods of time - I love to focus on the natural, storytelling images, then if the couple want 5-10 minutes to themselves - I get to create something special. This image is a great example; I’d seen it in my mind earlier in the day and found the perfect moment was after the meal and speeches where there is a naturally a bit of time before the evening really kicks off. The couple stayed nice and dry under a canopy of's just me getting drenched, but it's totally worth the final image: 'first kiss in the rain'.”

"At AMB-Vision our passion is to capture every aspect of your special day. As a two-person team (both at home and at work) we offer photography and videography but we are also fully CAA licensed drone operators, enabling us to provide you with a unique perspective of your wedding day.

"We want to tell your story and do it in a fun, unobtrusive manner. Staying late into the night to capture people throwing serious shapes on the dance floor, we will document it all, even using our drone technology to capture your sunset and if it rains, hey…we go with it.

"AMB-Vision will enable you to relive the joy and love of your wedding day for years to come, moment by moment, laugh by laugh, tear by tear…we will capture it all." Chris and Carolyn at AMB Vision
