The Old Rectory, Great Melton
Completely rustic, a rural idyll, The Old Rectory in Great Melton, Norfolk, features an old partly walled Victorian vegetable garden that has been transformed into a magical woodland glade, with a licensed gazebo. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it is incredibly quiet – the only sound is the song of the birds. The bride walks through a cottage garden-style vegetable plot, poses under a willow arch, crosses the semi-wild orchard, and into the glade. Post-ceremony drinks are served from the summerhouse. Guests can then walk to the beautiful front lawn and gardens for games and a marquee reception. The elegant house is an imposing backdrop and is also licensed for indoor ceremonies.
