Hen parties are always a blast because it is a time when friends get together to celebrate their love for the bride-to-be.
With an increased demand for parties that feel more private to the groups and a balance between going out and staying in, Hen Heaven has launched The Coach Houses in Nottingham to meet these needs. Fully equipped with kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas the unique and exclusive houses can hold up to 24 guests collectively. Hen Heaven is currently offering a £200 discount for May and June bookings, as well as £100 off in July, August and September.
Here, Hen Heaven offers their advice in how to throw a hen house party like no other.
1. Decorate
Personalise your accommodation with decoration that celebrates the bride and bridal party. Childhood to adulthood photos, balloons and hen do paraphernalia will all serve to raise a smile and get the party started on arrival.
2. Package deals
Find a package that offers an array of activities to fill your evening. In conjunction with The Coach Houses, Hen Heaven has launched two packages with which to further enjoy your night in: while ‘Chef and Pamper’ offers a three-course meal and a professional pampering service, the ‘Chef and Cocktails’ package also provides a three-course meal, but is complemented by a mobile cocktail making specialist.
3. Customise your catering
From the drinks to the snacks, there are lots of ways to continue the hen do theme. Mason jars with coloured straws, colourful plastic crockery and shot glass necklaces all present an element of fun that everyone can enjoy. Edible cupcake toppers can also allow you to add a personal touch to proceedings.
4. Create a playlist
A playlist that has been tailored to the bride is another opportunity to show her that you care. Ask everyone to submit a song that is special to them and the bride prior to your arrival and create a list of feel good anthems.
5. Provide a punch bowl
Presenting a cheap alternative after the champagne toasts, a fruity cocktail or mocktail that will satisfy the masses is a sure fire way to keep everyone happy. Bring a bundle of plastic tumblers and invite people to scoop away.
