Hire a professional bridesmaid or groomsman for your wedding day

09 May 2018

Online service marketplace Bark.com has launched a service for professional bridesmaids and groomsmen and is calling for new recruits who can earn up to £100 an hour

A growing profession in the United States, men and women are now offering their services as professional groomsmen and bridesmaids and charging up to £100 per hour.

Anticipating UK demand, Bark.com has announced the addition of professional bridesmaids and groomsmen to its directory of local services, which also includes more traditional wedding businesses such as floristry, photography and catering.

With job duties including organising hen and stag dos, running errands and managing timings on the big day, a professional bridesmaid or groomsmen will allow you to relax pre-wedding and on the big day knowing that everything has been taken care of. It also means that you don't have to depend on friends or family members and you can rest assured that the job is in capable hands.

Kai Feller, co-founder of Bark.com, said, “We know professional bridesmaids and groomsmen are already popular with couples in the States for a variety of reasons. As a professional member of a wedding party, our pros can earn up to £800 based on an eight-hour work day. We’re certain overwhelmed brides and grooms will benefit from having a service like this to alleviate some of the stress that comes with planning a wedding.”
