We all know the bride is guaranteed to shine on the big day, but in a room full of suits and ties, how does a groom stand out from the crowd? It’s traditional for the male wedding party to wear boutonnières, so choosing a different flower or colour is a subtle, but effective, way to set the groom apart. Wearing a different colour tie is also a great way for a groom to look different from his groomsmen.
Changing vest or waistcoat colors or designs will help designate him as the groom, but the more daring groom might even choose a completely different colour instead of just changing tones. Where once tuxedos and uniform colour schemes were traditional for weddings, some men are now choosing to wear a completely different colour suit or tux than their groomsmen – this is perhaps the boldest statement of all to make a groom really stand out among his friends.
