Hayne House unveils Orangery plans

23 Jan 2017

Hayne House in Kent has unveiled plans for a new Orangery, offering a beautiful, light and airy space for a wedding reception

Hayne House in Saltwood, Kent has replaced its marquee offering with an Orangery, which will lend itself to both an indoor or outdoor wedding reception.

Available to couples in 2018, the Orangery, designed by Hampton Conservatories, will feature glass panelling and doors which open out on to the garden to promote the spectacular views while instilling a sense of nature.

Natural stone floors, ivory painted walls and soft decor colours will evoke connotations of calm and tranquility, while offering a blank canvas for wedding couples to theme as they please. Ventilation and insulation, combined with under-floor heating, will ensure that the Orangery is completely versatile - offering a setting to be enjoyed by wedding parties all-year round.

Fleur Record-Smith, founder of Hayne House, says: “It was becoming apparent that within the foreseeable future I would need to replace the marquee at Hayne House. I wanted a space that continued to celebrate the outdoors, while bringing it indoors. I also wanted the new build to suit the scale of the existing historic building."

Fleur continues: "The Orangery will provide all the facilities couples could ever need under one roof: the ceremony area, the wedding breakfast reception, dance floor, bar, and all with disabled access. I hope that our couples will make the perfect memories under the Orangery glass here at Hayne House”.

The Hayne House Orangery will accommodate up to 120 guests for weddings, civil partnerships and
non-religious marriages, holding 120 guests for a formal wedding breakfast and up to 150 evening
guests. For further information, go to www.haynehouse.co.uk.
