Hen party provider GoHen.com has announced a 234% rise in Harry Potter themed hen parties in the last two years.
Harry Potter activities are now 89% more popular than traditional hen party activities, with Cocktail Potions Classes, the Harry Potter Studio Tour, Quidditch matches and Harry Potter Escape Rooms all firm favourites among brides and their hens.
The news coincides with Harry Potter's 39th birthday (31st July) and the 22nd anniversary of the release of the first book in the franchise, Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone.
GoHen's head of events, Poppy Golby, said: "Harry Potter was such a big part of so many childhoods and the first time many millennials read about romance (the pairings of Harry and Cho Chang and Ron and Hermione), so it seems quite apt that they want to revisit that part of their youth in the build-up to their big day. But it still seems crazy to think Harry himself is nearing 40!"
