Due to take place on Wednesday 11th April 2018, Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe in Stratford-Upon-Avon is holding a charity auction to raise funds for Molly Olly's Wishes.
Founded in 2011 to help families with terminally ill children to cope with the emotional and financial struggles that can come with their children being in hospital, Molly Olly's Wishes was set up by Rachel and Tim Ollerenshaw who lost their eight-year-old daughter, Milly, to a Wilms tumour.
Local brides are invited to donate their pre-loved wedding dresses and brides-to-be are welcomed to bid on the gowns to support the worthy cause.
Daniel Graham, general manager at Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe, said: “We appreciate that some brides will want to keep their wedding dresses because they feel it has great sentimental value, but there will be others who have put their dress away and not given it a second thought. It would be fantastic if these dresses could be donated to us to be loved and enjoyed again by another bride, while supporting a really great cause."
To donate a wedding dress, please contact hallmarkhotels@webershandwick.com or call 0161 238 9400.
Guests can also attend the venue's Wedding Open Evening on the same day, which begins 45 minutes prior to the auction at 6pm and will involve drinks, canapés and tours of the venue.
