Launching on Valentine's Day, the latest eco wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace is a mermaid design named Peaches Pearl
Sustainably and ethically hand-crafted in the brand's native Australia, Peaches Pearl from Grace Loves Lace is a re-imagined signature style composed of 100% recycled, GRS certified pearl lace.
Grace Loves Lace founder, Megan Ziems, says: "We were inspired to take materials that would have been otherwise discarded and use modern technology to create a luxurious fabrication that brides can feel proud to wear on their wedding day. The pearlescent threading and scale of the floral pattern really revolutionises the style, making Peaches Pearl a stand-out gown."
The eco lace featured in the gown was developed over two years and debuted in the launch of Lumi – the brand's first eco wedding dress. The pioneering move contributes to the design's overall composition of 95.5% recycled materials.
Megan continues: "It's exciting to see just how far we can go with not only being ethical, but also creating fabrics that have less impact for the planet, while not losing any design, quality or construction elements that we need."
Grace Loves Lace has also announced the launch of a new recycling initiative and partnership with Australian-based recycling firm, Upparel. Improving business operation and waste management, the initiative will revolutionise Grace Loves Lace's existing recycling model by providing the ability to recycle all of its fabric waste.
Available in sizes XS to XXL and priced £1,600, Peaches Pearl will launch on Monday 14th February, 2022 at graceloveslace.com.
