Most brides-to-be embark on some form of diet or fitness regime in preparation for their big day, but what if you need to do more than just lose a few pounds or inches? For those who have a more challenging weight loss goal, there’s nothing more motivating or inspiring to help you get in shape than a residential Bootcamp, such as Reboot Dorset.

For five days, the team at Reboot Dorset helps to kick start your exercise regime, either working with you to start from scratch or tweaking your existing plan so that you get the results you want.

One bride-to-be who turned to Reboot Dorset to get in shape was Sulekha Appaiah.

Sulekha had always been a typical yoyo dieter, so when she got engaged she was determined to lose her excess weight and walk down the aisle in a size 12 wedding dress. Despite the incentive of her wedding, Sulekha struggled with a lack of willpower, finding any excuse to turn to food. She decided she needed a boost to her motivation and began researching residential Bootcamps, finally choosing Reboot Dorset as she liked the mix of exercises, plus the nutritional advice.

Reboot was the kick start that Sulekha needed and she left after her five-day stay feeling inspired and ready to achieve her goals. She walked down the aisle five months later feeling proud of her fit, toned body and her size 12 dress. After her wedding, Sulekha quickly became pregnant with her first child, something the doctor put down to her good health and fitness levels.

Reboot is a five-day Bootcamp. There are many other week-long Bootcamps available but Mark Hooks, founder of Reboot believes that five days of intensive exercise is more than enough for the body and that two rest days are important after completing the Bootcamp. He says: “Reboot is a demanding five-day fitness course offering a mix of physical exercise, nutritional advice, mental training and relaxation. Every day runs from 7am until 7pm and aims to push people beyond their usual comfort zone, motivating and inspiring them to make exercise and healthy eating part of their everyday routine.”

For three months after completing a Reboot Dorset Bootcamp, Mark and the team will work with you to plan weekly exercise schedules. They provide recipes for good, healthy eating and are there with encouragement if you feel motivation slipping.

Sulekha says: “I would recommend Reboot Dorset to any brides-to-be who want to get in shape but need a bit of help to get on track and stay there as they prepare for their wedding day.”
