Between meetings with suppliers and evenings of wedmin, in the months before your wedding it can feel like there just isn’t time to catch up with your friends.
Throwing a Galentine's Day celebration is the perfect way to say thank you to your #bridetribe for all their love and support in the run up to your big day. Whether it’s a low-key affair or a show-stopping celebration, here are some of our favourite ideas for a Galentine's to remember.
Organise a DIY pamper evening
Stock up on facemasks, get your nail polishes together and make a maximum-chill playlist for the pamper evening your girls deserve. Set up a pedicure station on your sofa and serve sweet snacks alongside homemade smoothies or tea-infused cocktails. Cucumber slices at the ready…
Send handmade cards
A thank you note is a thoughtful way to let your friends know how much you value their support and friendship. Get creative and make your own cards using pressed flowers or pictures of you all for that personal touch – or get the glitter glue out for something bright and bold.

Host a film marathon
Lights, camera, action! String up fairylights and make batches of flavoured popcorn for a cosy film night. Bridesmaids is a must-watch – pick films that are all about those friendship goals like Thelma and Louise, Clueless or Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.
Plan a cocktail night
Whether it’s a pop-up bar in your kitchen or a night on the town, a cocktail night is always great fun. Book a table at your favourite bar or show off your mixology skills with a homemade drinks menu to impress. Check out these recipes if you are stuck for ideas. Mini umbrellas, wine charms and edible flowers are a must for Instagram-worthy drinks.

Make a bridesmaid box
If you are thinking of giving your bridesmaids a thank you gift, why not put it together with a few other items and make a bridesmaid box. You can add their favourite sweets, a picture of you both or a special accessory for them to wear on the day to make for a thoughtful present.
Post some petals
Your girls may be hoping for flowers from their other-halves on Valentine's Day, but a bunch of blooms from a friend will make for a truly special surprise. Pick their favourite colours and flowers to add that personal touch to each bouquet.

Hold a sleepover
Tell your friends to pack an overnight bag and bring their comfiest pyjamas for a very special sleepover soirée. Whether you cook a three-course dinner or order a take-away feast, treat them to an evening of party games and girl-time – just try to get a few hours sleep…
Ladies who brunch
We’ll take any excuse for poached eggs and mimosas – and Galentine's Day is the perfect reason to get the gang together for everyone’s favourite meal. Go for a bottomless brunch at your favourite local restaurant or make pastries fresh to impress your guests.
