Wedding planner, Cara Lee Mc Laughlin of The Mosaic Wedding Company, tells us about the couple's big day which took place in February 2020:
How did they choose the place to get married?
They really loved the whole look of the venue, it has a very beautiful drive into the venue itself and they loved how private it was - there is also a stunning views of the mountains.
Did the couple have any special request for their wedding?
Celia really loved colour and art so we incorporated this into the dessert station, the flowers and into the stationary. Hand painted animals and leaves were added onto all of the wedding stationary.
How did you come up with the concept of this wedding
Colour, color and more colour! They are a vibrant and fun loving couple so we wanted to showcase that and make sure it came through in the designs and flowers. They were both easy to work with and loved the concept of the flowers that we did in the mock up.
How did this wedding change your career as a wedding planner?
I wouldn't say it changed it in any way, but it definitely gave me all the feels and I loved my job a lot more after leaving this wedding. Celia and James were so lovely and they even took some time out of the dancing time to just come and chat to me about how happy they were with their whole day - that really meant a lot to me.
Were there any challenges for this wedding?
It was a really hot day, so on the last minute, I organised some large umbrellas as I was worried that the guests would get too hot in the sun.
Tell us a little bit about this destination – what differentiates it from other places?
It has everything! Sea, mountains, beaches, vineyards, bush - what more could you ask for.
