Flat Cap Hotels to launch The Courthouse Hotel in July
13 Jun 2017
The Courthouse Hotel, a new wedding and events venue, is due to open its doors on July 1st in Cheshire
The former Knutsford Crown Court, one of the town’s most iconic buildings, will open as a prestigious venue suitable for weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and events on July 1st. Entitled The Courthouse Hotel, it is being launched by Cheshire-based hotel group Flat Cap Hotels, which has spent the last 18 months restoring and refurbishing the property using the original features and architecture.
Its Court Room has a reception capacity of 400, while the Moneypenny Suite has a capacity of 100 for private dinners and events. Six other flexible rooms can accommodate 10-100 guests. Before the end of the year, 10 luxury bedrooms will be available in the wings of the building, with a further 40 bedrooms being added to the rear of the site in 2018.
The iconic venue also features The Barristers Restaurant and Bar, which is currently open for lunch, afternoon tea, and an evening menu. Providing 90 covers, it is led by executive chef Stephen Tuke, who serves seasonal British menus. Later in July will see the opening of the unique Rooftop Gardens, a stunning 100 capacity cocktail and champagne bar that will be filled with botanical herbs, a chef’s garden, and seasonal flowers.
Ideally located for weddings, The Courthouse Hotel is opposite the town’s stunning St John’s Church and within walking distance of Knutsford Methodist Church and Brook Street Chapel. It is easily accessible by car, and is close to Knutsford train station and bus station.
The Courthouse website is now live and can be found here: http://www.thecourthousecheshire.com. To book a place at the opening launch on Saturday 1st July, please visit the website or call 01565743333
