"This is Katie and Harry who are so in love. Even though their wedding was on a bright sunny day in August I still managed to get this romantic dark shot. I love it because they do. My style of photography is mainly journalistic, however I am getting into technical lighting shots which many of my couples love. I like to meet all my couples before their big day to discuss their needs and make sure that the timings of the day can accommodate the photography they want. Giving great customer service is key to the success of my business."

"We have chosen this image as we feel that we have understood the brief that the bride and groom gave us on how they wanted formal images, but with a more modern and relaxed twist. We are two photographers who have set up a photography business after completing our degrees in digital media. Our style of photography is both vast including portraiture and the candid shot. We feel it is important to meet with the future bride and groom to understand how they wish for their day to be captured." Tina and Trevor

"Sarah and Paul were married at Thorpeness Country Club in September 2017. They spent a lot of time at Thorepness and Aldeburgh so wanted their wedding photos to reflect their favourite place. I always visit the venues with my couples to discuss their days and find the best places for photographs together. Sarah and Paul loved the house in the clouds, the mere and the shell on Aldeburgh beach so we made sure to incorporate all of those in their photos. I am a freelance photographer based in Lowestoft, Suffolk, specialising in creating stunning images to capture life's important moments. Disappointment at my own wedding pictures first inspired me to pick up a camera, and I soon discovered a knack for taking natural and creative images. Images that my clients love."

"This is the photo I show to anyone who asks about my work, it's a lovely example of what makes wedding photography so special. It's also a perfect representation of my style - a love of relaxed, organic photography with beautiful natural lighting. I like to think my job is to take the kind of photos that will live in your wallet, or on your desk at work. So much so that I always include a selection of prints in your package, to make extra sure that's where they end up." Oliver Lall

"I have chosen this image above all others because it shows my natural/reportage style perfectly. It's so important to have a good rapport with your clients at a wedding, and this enables me to get relaxed, natural and spontaneous images that look just right. In this photo, the way Daisy and Scott are interacting, smiling and laughing, shows their love for one another and also the way they act together. I like to work a wedding from beginning to end, capturing all those special moments that might otherwise be lost in time. I cover weddings locally in East Anglia, the UK, or even destinations abroad."

Louise Philp Photography

"I love this image because it's such a simple photograph - just my couple having a moment together, their love is there for all to see. Also, the black and white colour effect adds a more dramatic feel to the image. I have been a full-time professional wedding photographer since 2011, my business has grown over the last few years and is continuing to do so with lots of weddings booked in for 2018 and beyond. My style is very relaxed and natural, I adore capturing those moments when people don’t even know I’m there; little snippets of the day that my couples love to look back on. When I photograph a wedding I’m not just giving my clients photos of their day, I’m giving them the story as it unfolds and memories that will last a lifetime."
