Bride: The Wedding Show Bournemouth International Centre from February 22-23 (10am to 4pm) is the perfect event for local couples and their friends and family to view a wide variety of outfit options.

As well as a host of bridalwear, groomswear and occasion wear companies who can guide and advise you in your decisions, there is the sensational catwalk show which takes place at three times daily and features the latest fashions in wedding wear. 

Set to a show-stopping soundtrack, the catwalk is a highlight of the weekend and will see several businesses take to the stage with their most trend-led choices. See Brides of Winchester, Stephanie Francis Bridal, Gibbs Menswear and Posh Togs all parade a selection of their designs and follow up with the respective teams on their stands after the catwalk show.

Brides of Winchester, Stand 302

Gibbs Menswear, Stand 206 

Gibbs Menswear, based in Christchurch, has been specialising in the groom’s wedding hire wear business since 2000, having been previously based in Southbourne and Ringwood. Gibb Menswear offers morning tails for the traditional wedding and a range of lounge suits in navy, royal blue, greys and now available tweed suits. Complement your chosen outfits with the huge range of waistcoats and neck wear.

Stephanie Francis Bridal, Stand 228 

Stephanie Frances Bridal is a bridal boutique in Southbourne, offering bridal gowns by WToo, Willowby, Adriana Alier, Alma Novia, Luna Novias and The Bespoke Collection by Sophia and Camilla. Alongside its bridal gowns is a bespoke design and alterations service, as well as bridesmaids’ dresses and a variety of accessories to create your perfect bridal look.

Posh Togs, Stand 119 

Based in Bournemouth, Posh Togs stocks a range of contemporary and traditional menswear, available in children’s and men’s sizes so all members of the party can be dressed in matching or complementing outfits – whatever your wish. Suits can be hired or bought, with competitive prices and special offers such as the groom goes free when buying four additional suits. Individual tailoring is also available in store.

Aurora Jacques Bridal, Stand 334 

Aurora Jacques began in June 2019 and was set up by Jacqueline Robinson and Dawn Coveney, who are both nurses and have been friends for more than 20 years.  

Having discovered a love for designing and creating beautiful bridal and evening gowns, Jacqueline and Dawn created Aurora Jacques. The dresses are bespoke, one-off pieces made entirely by Jacqueline and Dawn in their studio in North Dorset. Not only do they design and create the dresses, they also design and create the accessories to complement the dress such as veils, necklaces and bracelets.  

Their debut collection is inspired by 1940’s Hollywood glamour. Beautiful tulle, satin, lace and silk fabrics have been used to create the collection, along with Swarovski crystals and pearls on the dresses and accessories.
