Ingle & Rhode has identified an increasing number of women choosing to propose to their male partners, and a demand from male same sex couples looking for suitable engagement rings to mark the milestone moment.
Anticipating a growing trend, the ethical jeweller has launched a bespoke collection of engagement rings designed especially for men.
Fashioned from gold and platinum, the collection also features a selection of ethically sourced diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and other precious stones for added sparkle.
With prices starting from £495 and ranging up to £11,950, Ingle & Rhode promises an engagement ring for most budgets. A complementing bespoke design service can be used to create a truly unique ring.
Tim Ingle of Ingle & Rhode says: “Over the past couple of years we’ve had a lot of female customers coming in and asking for engagement rings. Traditionally, of course, engagement rings were something which men bought for women but times are changing and we certainly believe in equality of the sexes, so why not have rings designed exclusively for men?”
He adds: “It isn’t only women who buy these rings – they are also incredibly popular with male couples planning their perfect marriage ceremony. We have also had men buy them for themselves at the same time as buying an engagement ring for their female partner. I guess they didn’t want to miss out.”
