Elopement weddings - a new trend for 2021?
17 Feb 2021
Fed up with the uncertainty around how many guests you can have at your wedding? Consider an elopement wedding instead – an intimate ceremony for just two
With weddings being postponed and uncertainty around when large celebrations will rule once again, a new trend has arisen for elopement weddings - intimate, meaningful and private celebrations for two, who just want to be married now and celebrate with friends and family at a later date and now, there’s a dedicated E-lopement team of suppliers in Kent offering just that.
The E-lopement Team (consisting of Fleur Challis Photography, Cobi and Coco Cakes, Mimi Fleur Wedding Florist and The Wedding Owl) curate beautiful, magical, modern, and personally styled micro weddings for just two, without the added pressure of everyone else’s opinions or social pressures. But if couples don’t want their elopement to be a total secret, they can invite up to eight people. And, yes, family pets are also welcome to elope with them in Kent.
The E-lope packages include a specialist elopement photographer, who will capture all of the romantic and beautiful aspects of the celebration. The E-lope packages also include all of the on-site co-ordination, personalised decor, wedding cake and flowers, ceremony chairs and reception set-up, followed by Champagne and sharing boards or a quintessential English afternoon tea prepared by a multi-award-winning caterer. Celebrations usually last about three hours, at The Castle Westenhanger, an E-lopement handpicked exclusive-use wedding venue, normally reserved for large weddings and events.
The team will be on hand to host the celebrations and will co-ordinate the unique elopement day. E-Lope will deal with all of the nitty-gritty details and embellishments and set up the ceremony and private dining area, either inside or out, depending on the time of year and the weather, to create a seamless authentic ceremony. They deliver the most beautiful of soirees with lashings of wow factor, that is all about the couple.
If couples are traveling from further afield or from aboard to the UK, (post lockdown), the team will strip away the pressure and anxiety associated with a larger wedding. They will also support couples with the legal aspects.
The team just want couples to have a beautiful wedding experience that includes elements that truly reflect their unique partnership. The E-lope team want to break the ‘traditional rules’, to help couples realise their unique wedding now and party with friends and family at their chosen venue later as restrictions are lifted.
All couples have to do is give the team E-Lope no less than 30 days to organise, and post lockdown, embark on an adventure, arrive ready, with their necessary paperwork, rings and team E-Lope will do the rest to ensure their hearts are filled with love and joy.
