EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards Wedding Florist of the Year, Finalist Q&A: Constance Rose
17 Jan 2017
The finalists of the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards 2017 have been announced and ahead of the red carpet ceremony at Dunston Hall on Friday, 27th January, we get to know them a little better
Jo Thomas, owner of Constance Rose - a finalist in the Wedding Florist of the Year category, answers our Q&A.
What geographical area does your business cover? Mainly Norfolk and Suffolk, but also London and surrounding counties.
How long has your business been running? Three years
What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Constance Rose is a florist based on our farm in Norfolk. We aim to grow as many of the flowers and foliage that we can for the wedding season, working with brides to compile planting and growing programmes for wedding designs. We are a creative team who work with the bride to complete the visual story of their day with fresh flowers and foliage cut from the gardens. We aim to provide a friendly, personal and creative service.
Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? We were kindly nominated by Your Norfolk Wedding, who are wedding planners.
What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? We were doing event flowers at the time in the barn when the email came in, so we had a little jump up and down, some squeals and a cuppa with biscuits to celebrate.
What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January, 2017, at Dunston Hall? I am looking forward to an evening out with my fantastic girls celebrating the great year we have had with Constance Rose and a toast to the future.
