23 Jan 2017
The finalists of the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards 2017 have been announced and ahead of the red carpet ceremony at Dunston Hall on Friday, 27th January, we get to know them a little better
Charlie Cushing, events manager at Thursford Garden Pavilion - a finalist in the Newcomer of the Year category, answers our Q&A.
What geographic area does your business cover? Norfolk. The Garden Pavilion is set in the picturesque village of Thursford, Norfolk. The venue lies just one mile off the A418 and halfway between Fakenham and Holt. Panoramic views of the gardens and neighbouring coastline can be enjoyed from The Garden Pavilion which prides itself on the tranquillity and exclusivity it provides.
How long has your business been running? Two years
What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? We are a venue supplier and stand out for the following reasons:
- We have an incredible lighting display inside and outside the pavilion and custom-built dance floor with state of the art sound system and lighting rig
- We can provide access to our world-famous museum which houses a fairground carousel ride, gondola ride and mechanical organs. These can all be enjoyed as part of the wedding reception.
Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? We felt that it would be a nice event to be a part of and know that Archant always do a good job with all the events that they put on.
What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? We were very humbled to have been chosen and are very excited to be one of the finalists.
What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January, 2017, at Dunston Hall? Meeting other finalists and treating my hard-working team to a good night out.
