The finalists of the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards 2017 have been announced and ahead of the red carpet ceremony at Dunston Hall on Friday, 27th January, we get to know them a little better
Michael Fletcher, finance and marketing manager at Aurora Designs - Couture Headdresses,a finalist in the Bridal Jeweller or Accessory Designer of the Year category, answers our Q&A.
What geographic area does your business cover? All of the UK.
How long has your business been running? 14 years
What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Aurora Designs - Couture Headdresses designs and makes a wide range of tiaras and headdresses as well as bridal belts, decorated veils and decorated shoes. Our products are all handmade in Norwich and are available exclusively from La Belle Angèle Bridal Boutique in Bridewell Alley.
We have a wide range of tiaras and headdresses available to suit all wedding dress styles – around 150 different designs – many of which are one-off designs. Our bridal belts are made to complement our diverse range of wedding gowns available in our boutique. We also offer a highly professional customer service.

What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? Extremely pleased.
What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride – The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January at Dunston Hall? Winning, naturally, and being recognised as a prominent bridal accessory designer in Norfolk.
