What geographic area does your business cover? Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and London.

How long has your business been running? Two years

What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Little Pea Designs hand-crafts wedding stationery with the wow factor. We stand out from the competition because we offer a completely bespoke service, making all of our stationery from scratch using our clients' visions and bringing that to life. We have an extensive range of beautiful papers and cards not all available widely. Combined with quality printing and crisp design, we really believe we have the edge.

Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? I have been running my business for two years now and the feedback I have received from clients has given me the belief that I am offering a really beautiful product and high-end service at a reasonable price point. I have worked with so many lovely couples with a huge range of ideas and an EDP Bride award would give my business the endorsement and acknowledgement that the service I offer is something future clients can really rely on as trusted and professional.

What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? Gosh, I was absolutely over the moon. I know how much I have put into the business to make it a success and I am passionate about what I offer. Being a finalist is the recognition of this. I know I’m good at what I do but it’s also knowing that other people believe this too; it’s an amazing feeling. To be honest, it doesn’t matter to me if I win the award, getting this far is so amazing. There are some great stationery suppliers out there and I’m really proud to be voted amongst the best.

What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January, 2017, at Dunston Hall? It will be great to meet up with so many other suppliers that I have met through the EDP wedding shows I have attended over the last couple of years. To share in the success of the industry in our region, there really are some great suppliers for clients to choose from. I often recommend my clients to people I’ve met through the circuit and I know that is reciprocated. It will be a lovely celebration of what we are all capable of.
