EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards Wedding Florist of the Year, Finalist Q&A: La Belle Flowers
16 Jan 2017
The finalists of the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards 2017 have been announced and ahead of the red carpet ceremony at Dunston Hall on Friday, 27th January, we get to know them a little better
Caroline Sayer, owner of La Belle Flowers - a finalist in the Wedding Florist of the Year category, answers our Q&A.
What geographic area does your business cover? Norfolk and Suffolk.
How long has your business been running? Two years (started 14th October 2014).
What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Freelance florist; we offer a unique and personal service to our customers. Offering bespoke floral designs which are tailor-made to each bride's specifications, I allow my brides to explore their own ideas with their flowers and can then guide them to seasonal flowers or what would work with their style. It's a unique business; I can honestly say my brides start off as clients and leave as friends.
Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? We had a fantastic 2016, more successful and enjoyable than I would ever imagine. It was my brides who saw the awards and said we should enter.
What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? I had quite a few emotions: amazed, ecstatic, so pleased and it's lovely to think my brides entered me and truly want me to be recongised for the hard work.
What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January, 2017, at Dunston Hall? I am looking forward to seeing all the other suppliers and enjoying the ceremony. It will be an excellent evening.
