Premier events venue proves the perfect party choice
Rural farm buildings in the heart of Suffolk have had a radical make-over to become one of Suffolk’s most sought after events venues.
Combining rustic charm with outstanding modern design, the newly launched Easton Grange in Easton has already attracted interest from people across East Anglia. It is proving the perfect choice for brides as well as anyone looking to host parties, conferences and all kinds of gatherings.
But it’s not just visitors who are delighted by the launch of Easton Grange. The new venture has provided much needed local employment, with both full time and casual staff being employed.
This is the second venture that has proved successful for local businessman, Ali Kerr. Having seen his pub, The White Horse, also in Easton win the Best Dining Pub award in last year’s Suffolk Food and Drink Awards, Ali is confident of enjoying similar success with this venture.
He said: ‘I believe there is a real need in this area for an outstanding function venue and, most important of all, is our location right on the River Deben.
‘It would be difficult to find somewhere with more stunning views which make the whole place feel very tranquil and relaxed.’
Having secured European grant funding to help with the development, Ali also involved wedding specialists Country House Wedding Venues in the project to ensure brides would literally be bowled over by what they saw.
And, so far, he has got the reaction he had hoped for. ‘It’s been great to see how well visitors have reacted to Easton Grange. They absolutely adore the venue and all it has to offer, including on site accommodation, ample parking and lots more,’ he said.
The new venue has also been welcomed by local community leaders as well as Central Suffolk and North Ipswich MP, Dan Poulter.
He said: ‘I wish Easton Grange success for the future and am pleased there is another new business opening in Suffolk providing jobs and a boost for the local economy.
