Luxury wedding venue, the Alexandra in Lyme Regis, has revealed the results of recent restoration work to its wedding chapel.
Adding to the Grade-II listed hotel's four wedding venues, the beautifully-refurbished chapel can cater to ceremonies of up to 60 guests.
Lovingly restored to its former glory, the chapel reflects the original interior as it was back in 1884, when it was first converted from a Georgian stable block. Owner of the Alexandra hotel, Kathryn Haskins, worked alongside architect, Nichola Burley of Heritage Vision, to deliver her vision, retaining the stained-glass windows and restoring the wood and iron work to its orginal splendour.
The chapel now joins the secluded Lookout Tower - another ceremonial space, ideal for a smaller celebration, as well as the elegant Alexandra Restaurant, the light-filled Conservatory Restaurant and the cosy Sitting Room.
