Donate your Wedding Dress to Charity & Receive a Makeover

09 Jul 2015

Cherished Angel Gowns give over 20 local brides the chance to wear their gowns for one last time before donating them to charity.

You’re big day is over, you’ve worn your dress and now it hangs at the back of your wardrobe, never to be worn again… or does it?

The Baby Loss Foundation, based in Merseyside, and Hazel Hughes Photography, Cheshire, are working on behalf of Cherished Angel Gowns to give over 20 local brides the chance to wear their gowns for one last time before donating them to charity. Brides will be given a makeover with hair and makeup from several local stylists.

Why are they doing this? Cherished Gowns provide gowns to hospitals all over the country which are used for stillborn babies. The wedding dresses will be carefully dismantled and made into tiny outfits for babies. This is the very last thing that the parents will see their newborns dressed in.

Though Cherished Gowns know how important the dresses are to the parents of still-born babies, they also know how important the dresses are to the ladies donating them, so head to Walton Hall Park and Gardens, Warrington on Wednesday 15 July 2015 at 5pm and be pampered and spoiled, have a beautiful photoshoot with champagne and strawberries, give your dress a most spectacular send-off before passing it on to an incredible cause!
