Held at the Great North Museum: Hancock, Jayne and Kip's wedding day was filled with artefacts.
The couple exchanged vows in front of 60 friends and family members in the museum's Hadrian's Wall Gallery and were spoilt for choice when it came to meaningful backdrops.
Playing a star role in Jayne and Kip's big day was Dippy, The Natural History Museum's famous diplodocus cast which has been touring the UK.
Measuring a staggering 21.3 metres long and 4.35 metres high, Dippy offered an unforgettable photographic opportunity for the happy couple and their guests.
Jayne said: "We always wanted to get married at the Great North Museum: Hancock and having Dippy there just made the entire day extra special for us."
Dippy continues his eight-leg tour, heading to Cardiff and Rochdale after Newcastle before ending his journey at Norwich in July 2020.
