Di Petsa unveils wet look wedding dress

Celebrity favourite Greek fashion house, Di Petsa, reveals wet-look wedding dress

Worn by Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner, Greek designer Dimitra Petsa has revealed a brand new autumn / winter bridal collection inspired by water.

Known for her designs which explore female sexuality and deconstruct feelings of shame surrounding the female body, Dimitra Petsa's approach to occasionwear honours traditional dressmaking and craftsmanship skills, while continuing to elevate future designs, by subverting the notion of the "one day dress" tradition, through imaginative pattern cutting and drape techniques to create modern, fluid silhouettes.

These dresses are individually draped and sewn by hand, to mimic the folds of wet fabric, creating ethereal silhouettes.

Every dress is one-of-a-kind for the client, with custom drapery techniques to conceal and highlight different parts of the body. The Di Pesta collection also includes intricate corsetry, hand embellishment and embroidery on luxe silk fabrics.
